LP3 and MD2 Enzyme Systems to Help Manage Bad Breath and Plaque Build Up
Oratene Brushless Oral Care products contain our MD2 Enzyme System and LP3 Enzyme System. These systems are based on 40 years of advanced enzyme technology, designed to help support your dog or cat’s optimal oral health.
The MD2 Enzyme System is made up of two Enzymes – Mutanase + Dextranase. These two proteins work together in your pet’s mouth to help regulate the pH levels. Why is this important? Germs, plaque, and other similar substances harmful to oral health cannot thrive under healthy pH levels that these enzymes work to provide. The result is a cleaner, healthier mouth for your pet.
The LP3 Enzyme System contains three separate enzymes (lactoperoxidase, lysozyme, and lactoferrin) with anti-inflammatory properties that work as a natural support to normal oral health for your pet. The system causes no side effects, will not harm or irritate healthy tissue, and is ideal for pet’s with recurring oral problems or those needing prolonged use.
Our pet toothpaste gel naturally inhibits the growth of odor-causing germs and helps to manage plaque build-up.
The patented enzyme system allows for maximum enzyme contact for a whole mouth clean, including the teeth, gums and tongue.
With age or certain medications, our pets can develop a dry mouth. The first sign of a dry mouth is bad breath caused by an overgrowth of germs or fungi.
The enzymes in our toothpaste gel have been developed to help reduce harmful germs and plaque, replenish the saliva’s own natural defenses and freshen the breath.
Oratene brushless toothpaste can be used at whichever life stage your pet is at, to help maintain everyday oral care.
It’s especially useful for aging pets and pets averse to brushing.
It’s also helpful for cats who don’t drink very much water.
